STANDARD COURSES
We produce courses which are designed to ensure that the candidates have
a firm grasp of the principles involved in using applications to achieve
their stated purpose.
In general there are no pre-conditions attached to who can attend our
courses, however a basic knowledge of using computers would be beneficial.
These courses are normally run over two days, depending on the application
and would cover all of the
major elements of the software including anything specifically identified
as a requirement by the individual client. Courses can also be adapted
to suit skill levels and we are happy to prepare classes for Introductory,
intermediate and Advanced level.
CUSTOMISED TRAINING
We tailor the courses to suit the requirements of our clients and we work
closely with the candidates before training commences to ensure that we
have identified and address those needs.
Many applications today are 'integrated' which means that they are often
capable of more than is perhaps required by the user. An example would
be the web capability of Adobe Photoshop or QuarkXPress where
the cient is only engaged in publishing for print. We would discuss and
identify with the client exactly what elements of the application are
relevant to them and to the course to be undertaken, this way we maximise
the training potential of our classes.
This customisation is fully utilised when we provide on-site training using all the equipment, systems and working methods employed by our clients in their day-to-day business.
UPGRADE TRAINING
Application development proceeds at a highly accelerated rate in todays
technological environment. We recognise that you may not have time on-the-job
to fully investigate the new features that your investment provides. We
run upgrade courses that identify these advances and where they can benefit
you in the workplace.
These courses are normally half-day but can be a full day depending on the scale of the upgrade.
